CARIBOU – Sheila M. Jones, 70, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Friday, March 28, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Fort Fairfield on Nov. 19, 1943, the daughter of Leonard and Helen (Delong) Levesque.
Sheila worked as a bookkeeper at Gulliver’s Service Station in Fort Fairfield, and L.B. Carter Co. in Caribou, for many years. She loved to wrap gifts, enjoyed working in her flower gardens, collecting Boyds bears, and was a wonderful cook.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Roger of Caribou; a son, Jeffrey Jones and his wife, Kim of Limestone; a brother, Lonnie Levesque and his wife, Rita of Fort Fairfield; a sister, Shelba Pierce and her husband, Larry of Fort Fairfield; a grandson, Nathan Jones and his companion, Amanda Guerrette of Caribou; a great-granddaughter, Aria Jones; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and a daughter, Heidi Jones.
There will be no public calling hours. A graveside service will be held at Crouseville Cemetery, Crouseville, later in this spring.
