In honor of Mother’s Day, The Caribou Historical Center and Museum will feature its collection of women’s hats. The display will be open on Saturdays from Saturday, April 26 to Saturday, May 17 from noon to 4 p.m. Should community members wish to honor women in their families by lending the museum their hats for this event, museum officials would be happy to include them in the hat display.
Those wishing to contribute hats for the display are asked to bring in the hats on a Saturday during the display dates. In keeping with museum policy, hats must be at least 50 years old and, if possible, bring an identified photo or photos of the hat owner. For more information please call 498-2556.
