Theroux, Edwena A., 85, May 28, 2014.  Interment was held in the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield.  Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

    AR-EdwenaATherouxCARIBOU – Edwena A. (Dionne) Theroux, 85, died May 28, 2014, at Presque Isle, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fort Fairfield, February 22, 1929, the daughter of the late Edward J. Dionne and Beulah (Farley) Barnes and granddaughter of Fred and Mina (Thibodeau) Farley.
    She worked in Connecticut for a number of years as a home health care worker. Edwena moved back to Maine ten years ago to be close to her daughters. She enjoyed playing Bingo and cards with her friends at Caribou Gardens. Her favorite day was Saturday, when her daughters, Deanna and Shelley would take her shopping in Presque Isle and back to Caribou to her favorite restaurant Freddie’s Southside, it was their favorite day also.
    She is survived by three daughters, Wilma Recor of Harrington, DE, Deanna Little and her husband, Wayne of New Sweden and Shelley O’Rourke of Caribou; her sister and brother-in-law, Roma and Roy Nolen of Missouri, her son-in-law, Berkley Gadwah of Connecticut and daughter-in-law, Colleen Maskell of Kenduskeg. Ten grandchildren, Dale, Angela, Tracy, Lori, Kimberly, Valerie, Shane, Ginger, Bob and Elizabeth. Many great-grandchildren, including a special great-granddaughter, Jocelyn Bernardi, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters, Janet Brassbridge and Velma Gadwah and a son, George “Sandy” Maskell, son-in-laws, Neil O’Rourke and Robert Brassbridge, and grandson, Neil O’Rourke, Jr.
    Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 9 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2014, until time of services which were held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Gaylon Doody, officiating. Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield. Following the funeral service all were invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at the Henry B.
