Wolland earns law degree

WASHINGTON, D.C. —Ross Madison Wolland, son of Dr. Michael Wolland and Bridget McIntosh, of Perham, graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
A 2007 Presque Isle High School graduate, Wolland received his BA in philosophy and political science from the University of Maine in Orono in 2011.
While at UMaine, he was vice president of the University of Maine student government. He was the recipient of the Margaret Chase Smith Public Affairs Scholarship and named the 2011 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ Outstanding Graduating Senior.
Wolland will be taking the Maine State Bar. Afterward, he will be working at the law firm of Arnold and Porter LLP in Washington, D.C.
