Kids Say at Limestone Community School

Kindergarten through fourth-grade students at the Limestone Community School were recently asked “If you came across a magic Genie who would grant you three wishes for Dad, what would those wishes be?” Listed are their responses.

Gunner Hatfield

1) Hair.

2) A fishing license.

3) A riding mower.

Abigale Cuthbertson

1) OK, this is what daddy likes, I love him and he loves me.

2) a present.

3) umm … hugs.

Kourtney West

1) Tickets to a Celtics game – I know he likes that.

2) Tickets to a Boston Red Sox game, I know he likes sports.

3) A person trainer that is Rajon Rhondo, Number 9 for the Celtics, to train him in Basketball.

Aimee Eivers

1) He has a bad back, so I would want to change his bad back so it’s not bad anymore.

2) To buy him a Xbox One, because that’s what he really wants.

3) This one is for all of us, but mostly for dad — to get a new house but to make sure it has a bedroom on the first floor, just in case the first wish isn’t granted and his back’s still hurt.

Bryce Dillon

1) To hit a home run, because he always hits doubles and stuff,

2) To kill a bear, because he likes to hunt.

3) To slam dunk a basketball, because my dad picks me up and I do two-handed slam dunks … and I want him to do a slam dunk like Paul George — he plays for Indiana.

Emily Leighton

1) For his back to get better because his back is a little bad…

… it’s hard to think of things, because he’s really special.

2) He can be rich.

3) And we could all live in a mansion because he’s rich.

Matthew Bragg

1) That he will have not so many days to bake cheesecakes, because he has to work so many days.

2) That he gets $2,000.

3) A big’ol house.

Barry Tucker

1) A new set of tools,

2) a new car and,

3) a new hockey video game.

Brayden Caldwell

1) We can make breakfast for him, because he always makes breakfast for us.

2) He can pick where we go for supper.

3) One of my shirts that he wore yesterday! That was big and he liked it.

Abigayle St. Peter

1) Get him a motorcycle,

2) Get him a new job as a second grade teacher, because I’m going into second grade.

3) Get him an air plane — actually, a mansion! Give him a lot of money so we could live in a mansion!
