CARIBOU – Carl P. Edgecomb, 70, died June 6, 2014, at Bangor. He was born in Fort Fairfield on October 6, 1943, the son of the late A.J. and Dorothy (Ouillette) Edgecomb.
Mr. Edgecomb was a graduate of Limestone High School and attended the Limestone United Methodist Church. He was employed by several area potato growers.
He is survived by five sons, Paul Edgecomb and his wife, Roxanne, of New Sweden, Spud Edgecomb and his significant other, Kelly Henderson, of Caribou, B.J. Edgecomb and his wife, Roxanne, of San Diego, CA, Otis Edgecomb of Yuma, Arizona and Omar Edgecomb of Connor; two daughters, Michele Sterner and her husband, Steve, of Caribou and Angela Ewings and husband, Joe, of Littleton; three brothers, Roger Edgecomb of Portland, Peter Edgecomb of Caribou, and Tim Edgecomb of Georgia; four sisters, Aline Drost of Woodland, Gail Kinney of Virginia, Judy Dionne of Nevada, and Julie Armillotti of Winthrop; ten grandchildren, Tyler Pelletier, Tanner and Tyra Sterner, Teagan and Teanne Ewings, Donovan, Mackenzie, Jayden, Ethan and Oliver Edgecomb; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Edgecomb was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Barbara; and a brother, David.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday June 11, 2014, from the Limestone United Methodist Church with Pastor Ellen Cleaves officiating. Interment will be in the Advent Cemetery. Following the services, all are invited to the church dining hall for continued fellowship and refreshments.
