WHITING, NJ – Mrs. Sue Ann Roach, known to her friends and family as “Connie”, passed away early in the morning on July 11, 2014 at her home in Whiting, NJ after a brief illness. Connie was born in the town of Limestone, Maine on December 4, 1935, and was the daughter of George and Leona (Michaud) Obar also of Limestone.
Connie was a loving mother, wife, sister and grandmother who always put the needs of others before her own. She resided for most of her life in Keene, New Hampshire and worked at SIMS Portex, Inc., a medical equipment firm in Keene for over 20 years.
Connie was preceded in death by her two brothers, Stephen Obar and Bernard Obar; her husband, Francis Roach; and her parents. Connie is survived by her three daughters, Patty Lee Brown, Christina Roach, and Cindy Croteau; three sisters, Theresa Tucker, JoAnn Halo, and Annie Merchant; two brothers, George Obar and Thomas Obar; six grandchildren; Timothy Brown, Matthew Brown, Heather Hopkins, Danielle Croteau, Paige Swift and Tommy Swift; and six great-grandchildren.
