Crafting season coming to The County

    The changing leaves bring crafting season to Caribou, Presque Isle and Fort Kent starting early next month, and vendor booths are nearly all booked.
    The season kicks off with the Arts and Crafts Fair at the Forum in Presque Isle on Saturday, Oct. 4 and Sunday, Oct. 5. Additional information for vendors and attendees can be found by calling the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce at 764-6561.

    Later in October comes the Caribou Arts and Crafts Fair at the Caribou High School on Saturday, Oct. 25 and Sunday, Oct. 26. With a single vendor slot remaining as of Monday morning, those wishing to be part of the show can contact Chamber Director William Tasker at 498-6156. 
    The Greater Fort Kent Area Chamber of Commerce continues to accept applications for its upcoming Arts and Crafts Fair being held on Saturday, Nov. 29 and Sunday, Nov. 30 at the UMFK Sports Center. Only a handful of vendor opportunities remained as of Monday morning, and interested crafters are encouraged to call the chamber office at 834-5354 or e-mail fortkentchamber@gmail.com for more information.
