Boots is a black and white spayed female with a loving personality living at the Halfway Home Pet Rescue Adoption Center. She has received all her medical attention and is ready for a new home. “Boots is a tiny bit shy at first, but warms up very quickly and rolls and rolls for your tummy rubs,” said President of the Halfway Home Pet Rescue Norma Milton. “She will make a nice pet for a quiet family who wants a lap cat, and she is as beautiful as her photo.” Boots’ adoption fee is $50. HHPR’s Second Chance Thrift Store will maintain regular hours on Thursday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Milton explained that if the store is closed during any of these times, it is only because of the lack of enough volunteers to serve the store customers. “We are in great need of at least four more volunteers to help us keep the store open,” she added.
