The Caribou girls’ varsity soccer team appears to be back on track following some opening-week struggles.
The Vikings made it back-to-back victories after disposing of Foxcroft Academy Saturday in Dover-Foxcroft, 9-1.

For the second consecutive game, Bria Judd netted five goals to lead the charge. Maddie Doucette’s goal 30 seconds into the game set the tone early. Sarah Doak had a goal and three assists and Searra Herbert and Gabrielle Marquis added single goals. Hope Shea picked up two assists on the afternoon for 2-2 Caribou.
The Viking boys are now 1-3 following Saturday’s 4-1 loss to the Ponies. Colby Holdsworth had Caribou’s only goal.
Both Viking squads hosted Madawaska Tuesday and next travel to Ellsworth for Saturday contests.
