CARIBOU, Maine — A ceremony to remember and recognize the country’s military personnel who were prisoners of war and those still missing in action will be conducted at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Caribou on Friday, Sept. 19 at 1 p.m.
The event’s keynote speaker will be retired Army Sgt. Maj. Roger Felix, and additional guest speakers include the Chairman of the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Corporation Harry Hafford; Phil Bosse, state office representative for Senator Susan Collins (R); Sharon Campbell, regional representative for Senator Angus King, Jr. (I) and Barbara Hayslett, district representative for U.S. Congressman Michael Michaud (D).
