This 3-month-old male kitten came to the Halfway Home Pet Rescue after he was found roaming several areas while being hungry, surviving cold nights and dangerous vehicles. The kitten will be ready for adoption very soon and will be a perfect pet for any size family. The kitten is good with other cats, children and not afraid of dogs. “He is mellow, extremely clean and loving and anxious to meet you,” said Halfway Home Pet Rescue President Norma Milton. An appointment for adoption can be made by calling 999-1075. The pet rescue has many young adult cats and far too many kittens and will soon be bringing another group downstate for adoption to help decrease the local population. Milton says that the recycle programs, which are utilized by the rescue for funding, are in need of nicely used shoes, used ink cartridges and returnable bottles. Items can be dropped off at 11 Pioneer Ave, 489 Main Street Adoption Center, or at the Second Chance Thrift Store. The shelter is also in need of Purina Kitten Chow due to the high number of kittens.
