The American Legion Auxiliary of Stockholm recently donated backpacks and comfort items to the Department of Human Services in Caribou. The backpacks and the items included are to be given to foster children when they enter a new home, in order to help them feel comfortable in thier new situation. The backpack donations have become an annual event for Stockholm’s Unit 136. Pictured in front, from left, are Vicki Zetterman, Margaret Johnson, Anne Poitras, Kathy Robinson and Myrna Dixon.
