The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s UMPI/ Community Band will have a winter concert Monday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. in Wieden Auditorium with a snow date of Monday, Dec. 8. Jon Simonoff will be the conductor. A variety of music will be performed by this unique group including classic band literature, settings of choral music for concert band, marches and more contemporary works. Guest Conductor Pamela Kinsey will be conducting Christmas music for this event as well.
