LIMESTONE – Florence M. Brown, 86, died peacefully at Cary Medical Center in Caribou on November 16, 2014, after a brief illness. She was born in Limestone, November 2, 1928, the daughter of Archie and Emma (Parent) Thompson.
Florence is survived by her husband of 66 years, Benjamin Brown of Limestone; four daughters: Diane LaCau and her husband, Tony, of Wasilla, AK, Mary Ann Oliver of Limestone, Shirley Nolan and her husband, Sean, of Gulf Breeze, FL, and Elaine Budesa of Las Vegas, NA; two sons, Raymond Brown and his wife, Goldina, of Presque Isle, and Leon Brown and his wife, Becky, of Fort Fairfield. Also surviving are two sisters, Esther Blackwell and Joan Thompson of Limestone, and two brothers, Louis and Roger Thompson of Limestone. Mrs. Brown had 14 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Florence was a very loving and generous person, and will be dearly missed.
