CARIBOU – Jean L. St. Peter, 76, wife of the late Reginald St. Peter, died November 17, 2014, at Frenchville, following a brief illness. She was born in Presque Isle on April 18, 1938, the daughter of the late Robert and Verna (Jones) McIntosh.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Mrs. St. Peter was a Licensed Practical Nurse and she was employed by Caribou Rehab and Nursing for over 20 years as well as being employed by TAMC for many years. She was a member of the Henry B Pratt Post #15 American Legion.
She is survived by her three sons, Michael St. Peter of Presque Isle, Robert St. Peter and his companion, Mona Michaud, of Caribou, and Scott St. Peter and his wife, Heidi, of Limestone; her three daughters, Patricia Anderson and her husband, Greg, and Cindy Trombley and her husband, Jeffrey, all of Woodland, and Norma Ballard and her husband, Keith, of Caribou; two brothers, Alan McIntosh of Westfield and Donald McIntosh of Presque Isle; one sister, Margaret “Peggy” McIntosh of Presque Isle; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Yvonne and Joel Theriault. Mrs. St. Peter was predeceased by her husband and a daughter, Theresa McLaughlin, both in 2004; and two brothers, Roger and Jimmy.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, November 19. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
