Memorial donations made to Caribou Public Library

    Memorial books and materials were presented to the Caribou Public Library during the months of October, November and December 2014. They included:
    In Memory of Dale Quinten Helstrom: “Whoop and Drive’er!” by David Estey and “Hard Chance” by Peter Pfeiffer, presented by Rick and Patty Lister.

    In Memory of Brenda McLaughlin Roope: “Birds of a Feather” by Paul J. Fournier and “Always in Season” by Elise     Richer, presented by Caribou High School Class of 1959.
    In Memory of Marshall Carlstrom: “Backtrack” by V. Paul Reynolds and “A Life Lived Outdoors” by George     Smith, presented by Caribou High School Class of 1959.
    In Memory of Dan Andretta: “Soccer On Sunday: Magic Tree House #52” by Mary Pope Osborne and “It’s O.K. To Make Mistakes” by Todd Parr, presented by Tony and Lori Andretta.
    In Memory of Lillian “Lil” Michaud: “Our Daily Tread” by Lisa Belisle, presented by Rick and Patty Lister.
    In Memory of Elaine Scott: “Carrying Water as a Way of Life” by Maine Authors Publishing and “Down The Road a Piece” by John McDonald, presented by Sam and Lise Collins and family.
    In Memory of Sterling Tibbetts: “Black Fly Stew: Wild Maine Recipes” by Kate Krukowski Gooding, presented by Sam and Lise Collins and family.
    In Honor of Harry Hafford: “The Military Advantage” by Terry Howell, presented by Northern     Maine Veterans Cemetery Corporation.
    In Honor of Jean Shaw: “I Know a Librarian Who Chewed On a Word” by Laurie Lazzaro, “Knowlton and The Library Tree” and “How a Canadian Woman Brought the Joy of Reading to a Generation of African Children”, presented by the staff of the Caribou Public Library.
