PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Two hundred six (206) full-time students achieved a 3.20 average or better at Northern Maine Community College during the fall semester. Twenty-nine students had the distinction of earning a perfect 4.0 grade point average in addition to being named to the High Honors list, including local students Matthew Cox, Richard Mullen, Erica Nadeau, Cheryl Tarr, Anjanette Walsh and Michele Wilcox, all of Caribou. Also earning a 4.0 was Jesse Henderson and Cheryl Marchand, both of Limestone, and Jesse Cormier of Van Buren.
Other local students making High Honors list with a GPA of 3.85 or better were: Joel Johndro, Dezirae Kish and Michelle Tauer, all from Caribou, and Lawrence Huckins of Limestone,
Local students making the dean’s list with a GPA between 3.2 and 3.84 were: MacKenzie Beaulieu, Erika Bittle, Charlien Burson, Jonathan Clayton, Jeffrey Cook, Kent DeMerchant, Katherine DuBois, Grahm Freme, Cassidy Godin, Shannan Godin, Caleb Gordon, Chiharu Jandreau, Paige Johnson, Kyrah Kyle, Troy Lagasse, Angela LaPlante, Miranda Levesque, Jose Ocana, Joshua Pike, Christopher Ruth, Jenelle Shaw and Allen St Peter, all of Caribou.
Also making the dean’s list were Jessica Lizotte and Jade McConnell, both of Connor, Renee Burgess of Hamlin, Bret Butler and Colleen Deschenes, both of Limestone,
New Sweden’s Amber Landeen-Peterson and Maxine Thibeault were named to the dean’s list as well, as were Thomas Cannon, Marc Lajoie and Casey Violette, all of Van Buren, and Woodland’s Scott Browning, Collin Patterson and Suzanne St Pierre-Donovan.
University of Maine
ORONO, Maine — The University of Maine recognized 2,114 students for achieving dean’s list honors in the fall 2014 semester. Over a dozen local students made the dean’s list.
They are: Devin Ballard, Annie Collins, Kayla Cormier, Jerry Ferszt, Charlie Griffeth, Haley Hunter, Charm Karunasiri, Chaya Karunasiri, Katherine Keaton, Ginger Kieffer, Emilee Sirois, Dean Walker and Delaney Williams, all of Caribou.
Also, Bailey St. Pierre and Emily St. Pierre, both of Caribou, Elsa Thibodeau of Stockholm, Kendra Stephens of Woodland and Nicholas LaJoie and Eric Laplante, both of Van Buren.

BIDDEFORD, Maine — Three local students were named to the dean’s list for the 2014 fall semester at the University of New England.
They are Nicole McHattie, Sarae Sager and Ryan Washington, all of Caribou.
Dean’s list students have attained a grade point average of 3.3 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.
