State Representative Anthony J. Edgecomb (R-Fort Fairfield) welcomed John Sjostedt, at right, to the State House on March 9. Sjostedt, chair of the RSU 39 Board of Education, along with school board vice chair Kent Forbes of Caribou, were in Augusta to monitor the joint proceedings of the Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee and Education and Cultural Affairs Committee. Rep. Edgecomb expressed that he was pleased to have the opportunity to visit with Sjostedt and listen to his thoughts about the proposed biennial budget.
