Three queens crowned in Caribou

    CARIBOU — In front of family and friends potential queens took the stage at the Caribou Performing Arts Center on March 21 to compete for the title of Teen, Junior, and Pre-Teen Miss Caribou.
    The 2015 queens are Teen Miss Caribou Hannah McDonald, Junior Miss Caribou Crissy Corbin, and Pre-Teen Miss Caribou Naomi Cote.
    First runner-up for Teen Miss Caribou was Kyra Thibeault, first runner-up for Junior Miss Caribou was Edie Shea, and first runner-up for Pre-Teen Miss Caribou was Emma Kilcollins.
    Kilcollins and Corbin were named Miss Congeniality in their respective age brackets along with Hannah McDonald who competed for the Teen Miss Caribou title.

    Naomi Cote, daughter of Ryan and Nicole Cote, sang “Over the Rainbow” in a Louis Armstrong style.     Crissy Corbin, daughter of Chris and Tracy Corbin, performed a lyrical dance to “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis.

    Ashley Violette, daughter of Kurt Violette and Jenny St. Peter, sang “Hallelujah”.     Hannah McDonald, daughter of James and Cathy McDonald, sang “Why Do People Fall in Love”.

Alexis Gustin, daughter of Eric and Kim Gustin, sang “Who Says” by Selena Gomez.     Mackenzie Rowe, granddaughter of Laura and Gordon Hewitt, sang “Jesus Take the Wheel” by Carrie Underwood.

    Edie Shea, daughter of Mark Shea and Becky Shea, performed the monologue “Mr. Mistoffelees”.     Mackenna Smith, daughter of Whitney and Katie Smith, performed a contemporary dance.

    Peyton Lindsey, daughter of Bryant and Brandy Lindsey, sang “I Enjoy Being a Girl” from the musical Flower Drum Song.     Emma Kilcollins, daughter of Chris and Mandy Kilcollins, performed a jazz dance to “Don’t Rain on My Parade” from the musical Funny Girl.
