MARS HILL & EASTON – Paula J. Clark, 86, went to be with the Lord after a short illness, surrounded by her family, Sunday morning, March 22, 2015, at the Aroostook Health Center in Mars Hill. She was born on July 24, 1928, in Washburn, the daughter of Henry G. McCrossin and Ada G. (Smith) Patten.
Paula helped her husband on the farm in Easton while raising her family and also took in over 70 foster children for many years. She worked at Singer and Key Bank. She enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, puzzles, crochet and was a member of the Easton Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her sons: Terry and his wife, Bonnie, of Easton, and Danny and his wife, Kaye, of Colorado; daughters: Kathy of Mars Hill, Wendy and her husband, Mike, of Presque Isle, Debbie of Presque Isle, and Tammy and her husband, Cole, of Tennessee; sisters: Carol Stockley of Houlton, and Beverly LaPointe and her daughter, Anna, of Augusta; brothers: Thomas and Kim McCrossin; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Paula was predeceased by her husband, Wendell Clark; brother, Richard McCrossin; and her grandson, Darren Kinney.
