CARIBOU – Lynn M. Chapman, 57, died unexpectedly, March 16, 2015, at her Caribou residence. She was born in Fort Fairfield, August 3, 1957, the daughter of the late Basil and Thelma (Hardgrove) Chapman, Jr.
Lynn was a 1976 graduate of Caribou High School and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Lynn was employed by numerous area businesses including Rite Aid in Caribou for many years, Caribou Save-a-lot for over 10 years and more recently Caribou Rehab and Nursing. Lynn always had a way to make people smile, even those who hardly knew her. She was loved by many and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She truly enjoyed being with her family, no matter the occasion.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Mary Chapman of Ellsworth, a daughter, Brittany Chapman and significant other, Aaron Trombley of Caribou; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Glenda Chapman of Caribou, Bob and Trisha Chapman and Mark and Trudie Chapman all of Hancock, and Rod and Michelle Chapman of Orland; one sister, Debbie Plourde and her significant other Jim Muth of Holden, four grandchildren, Dakota, Landon, Braydon and Carter, many nieces and nephews.
Friends visited with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services which were held at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com.
