AR-Keith-GagnonCARIBOU – Keith John Gagnon, 50, son of the late Renee and Catherine (Madore) Gagnon, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 22, 2015, at his Caribou residence. He was born December 31, 1964, in Van Buren.
    Keith grew up in Caribou and graduated from Caribou High School, class of 1983 where he began his love of music, playing drums as a member of the high school band. After graduation, he continued his schooling and graduated from NMVTI in 1985. He enjoyed many years as an industrial electrician, traveling through much of the U.S. He was a dedicated member of  IBEW Local 429. Additionally, he spent many years as the owner and operator of Caribou Mattress & Furniture Co. with his father. Keith was a beloved member of the community who stayed active in many different clubs and events. He especially enjoyed touring ‘The County” on his Harley Davidson with his friends. Of all the things he was well known for, the one he will be remem-bered most is his strong social connections and genuine kindness. He was a good man who leaves behind many memories for his friends and family.
    He is survived by one brother, Dwane Gagnon, Caribou; two sisters, Yvonne (Gagnon) Chamberlain, Clarksville, TN, and Lea (Gagnon) Smith, Spring Hill, TN; four nephews, Noah and Ethan Chamberlain, Clarksville, TN, and Logan and Colin Smith, Spring Hill, TN; as well as many cousins, extended family members and close friends.
    Friends called  Saturday, March 28, 2015, from 3-4 p.m. at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, where a service of remembrance was conducted beginning at 4 p.m. A time of continued fellowship followed the service at the Par and Grill Caribou. www. mocklerfuneralhome.com.
