Pitch, Hit and Run

    The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Pitch, Hit and Run Competition Saturday, May 9 at the Teague Park baseball field. The competition, for ages 7-14, will give participants the opportunity to see how accurate they can pitch, how far they can hit and how fast they can run.
Age division is determined as of July 17, 2015. There are no fees, but pre-registration is required. For more information, call 493-4224.

MRPA Future Stars track and field program

    The track and field program once known as Hershey Track and Field will begin April 27 for youth ages 7-15. Ages 7-9 meet Mondays and Wednesdays and ages 10-15 meet Tuesdays and Thursdays. All sessions run from 3-5 p.m. Registration is $18 and includes a T-shirt. Pre-registration is required.

Recreation center hours

    The Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center hours are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. and noon-4 p.m. on Saturday. The facility is closed Sundays. Beginning in May, hours will be 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday only.

Mother-Son Dance

    The annual Mother-Son Dance will be held Friday, May 8 from 7-9 p.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. Admission is $5 per couple and photos will be taken at the event for an additional charge.

13-15 baseball league

    Registration forms for this year’s 13-15 Northern Maine Baseball League are now available at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. They can also be downloaded by going to caribourec.org. A player on a team last year must re-register this year. The fee is $25 and the deadline is June 5.
Inflatable Day
An inflatable day will be held Thursday, April 23 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the recreation center for grades 3-6. The fee is $2 per person.
