Benjamin Poitras of Van Buren, a member of Boy Scout Troop 184, recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout and was honored during an Eagle Court of Honor on April 25. The rank of Eagle Scout is the highest achievement in Scouting and is given for excellence in skills development, leadership, personal growth and community service. Poitras is the son of Steve and Ann Marie Poitras of Van Buren and the grandson of Ginette Rivard of Caribou.
