A Memorial Day parade hosted by the Caribou VFW will take place in Caribou on Monday, May 25 at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at the Caribou Courthouse on Sweden St. and will end at Veterans Memorial Park on South Main St.
The Northern Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Caribou will celebrate Memorial Day on May 25 at 1 p.m. Join keynote speaker U.S. Coast Guard Veteran and Mapleton, Chapman, Castle Hill Town Manager Jon Frederick as well as guest speakers Col. Diane L. Dunn, Brigade Commander, Maine Army National Guard 120 Regional Support Group and representatives for U.S. Senator Susan Collins, U.S. Senator Angus King and U.S. Congressman Bruce Poliquin.
The Loring Job Corps Honor Guard will post colors, there will be a laying of the Memorial Wreath and a 21-gun salute.
