BURLINGTON, VT — Mariel Brown-Fallon of Caribou graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the College of Arts & Sciences during commencement ceremonies May 17 at the University of Vermont.
Brown-Fallon was among some 2,975 students who were awarded a variety of degrees — undergraduate, graduate and M.D. — during UVM’s 214th commencement. Among degree recipients were students from 42 states and 16 countries.
National Public Radio legal affairs correspondent Nina Totenberg delivered the address to graduates.
