CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou High School motto hung above seniors waiting to take the next step toward college and a career on Sunday during graduation exercises held at the school Sunday. “Behind us lies the path of learning… Ahead, the road to success,” Anonymous wrote.

After an invocation from graduate Lauren Chapman, Salutatorian Albany McCabe addressed the throng of family members and friends in the high school gym.
McCabe gave an inspirational speech and said goodbye to Principal Mark Jones, as he’ll be stepping down from his position later this summer.
Valedictorian Morgan Outing told grads in her address to stop counting down to the next life event and appreciate the journey, and she expressed the importance of hard work and persistence to her peers.
RSU 39 Superintendent Susan White encouraged the 99 members of the CHS Class of 2015 to explore what kind of purpose and life they want, and welcomed grads as alumni of Caribou High School.
In closing, grads stood and sang their class song “Tattoos On This Town” by Jason Aldean.
With the lights in the gym set low, the snap of camera flashes grabbed the graduates’ final moments before they put the past four years behind them and hit the road to exciting futures.
