We deliver … earlier — Beginning Friday last, the six rural mail carriers, who have been leaving at 7 o’clock in the morning for their daily trips, now leave at 11 o’clock. Those who make their trips by team are supposed to be back by half past four, and those who go by automobile (and there are now three carriers who travel that way) by 2 o’clock. The new change is a good thing for patrons of the route, as they now receive the forenoon mail which arrives in Caribou before 10 a.m., which would otherwise remain until the next morning.
