FORT KENT, Maine — The University of Maine at Fort Kent graduating seniors received their degrees at the 133rd commencement exercises held at UMFK on May 9. University President Wilson G. Hess presided over the ceremony that conferred 163 bachelor degrees and 43 associate degrees.

From Van Buren: Jonathan Chasse, co-valedictorian, bachelor of science in public safety administration.
From Caribou: Timothy Todd Blair, bachelor of science in nursing; Benjiman K. Blackstone, bachelor of science in business; Lacy Morgan Cyr, associate of arts in criminal justice; Shawn Dubay, associate of science in information security; Sarah Jean Englund, bachelor of science in public safety administration; Dylan T. Ouellette, bachelor of science in nursing; Jennifer Dawn Pinette, bachelor of science in nursing; and Reggie Warren Rideout, associate of science in applied forest management.
From Hamlin: Connor Jonathan Lapierre, associate of arts in criminal justice; and Alan D. Pelletier, bachelor of science in computer applications.

In a related matter, Heather Montgomery, Caribou, was inducted into the Nursing Honor Society by Dr. Tanya Sleeper, assistant professor of nursing. Only students with a grade point average of 3.0 or above, in the top 30 percent of their graduating class, and who represent the attributes of scholarship are admitted to the group.
