PRESQUE ISLE: Food preservation workshop, part one, offered by UM Cooperative Extension, 57 Houlton Rd., from 6-9 p.m. This hands-on class will cover water bath and pressure canning, freezing and drying. Preregistration required; $20 per person for the two-part workshop (part two is next week).
