Air Force Airman 1st Class Ashley A. Johndro graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Johndro is the daughter of Cuppy and Terry Johndro of Caribou, granddaughter of Jennie Redmond of Leland, N.C., niece of Penny Horne of Presque Isle, and cousin of Luca Tenney of Augusta.
She is a 2010 graduate of Caribou High School. She earned an associate degree in 2013 from the University of Phoenix.
