Edgecomb has perfect vote

AUGUSTA, Maine — Sen. Peter Edgecomb (R-Aroostook) compiled a perfect 100 percent voting record in the Maine Senate during the first regular session of the 127th Maine Legislature.

“Being in my seat to vote is my number one priority in the Legislature,” said Edgecomb. “The people of my district put their trust in me to serve as their voice in Augusta.”
During the legislative session, hundreds of roll call votes were held on matters ranging from the state budget to welfare reform to education policy.
Edgecomb is serving his first Senate term, having served four terms in the state House of Representatives. He is chair of the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry and is also a member of the Education and Cultural Affairs Committee.
