CARIBOU — Elwood “Buster” Gallagher, 87, passed away October 14, 2015 in Presque Isle. He was born in Caribou March 11, 1928. Mr. Gallagher attended the Caribou schools and he married Betty Langley in July 1947. Buster was employed at Hutchinson’s Florist in Caribou, retiring after 45 years of employment there.

Surviving in addition to his wife of over 68 years, Elizabeth of Caribou are four sons, Elwood Gallagher and wife, Rebecca of Olive Branch, Miss., Richard Gallagher and wife, Betty Jean, Ronald Gallagher and wife, Angela and Jeffrey Gallagher all of Caribou; two daughters, Martha Hardison and husband, Roger of Caribou, and Susan Cutchin and husband, Robert of Jaffrey, N.H; one sister, Sheila Stomsky, and husband, Walter of Southington, CT; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
