CARIBOU — Richard Rossignol, 77 passed away December 3, 2015 at his Caribou residence.

He was born in Stockholm June 24, 1938, the son of the late Arthur and Delia (Lozier) Rossignol. He married Diana McNeal December 2, 1961. Mr. Rossignol was employed by PL Willey as well as JP Martin for many years. Richard was an avid Red Sox fan and was the number one softball player at family gatherings. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and uncle. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 54 years, Diana of Caribou, are three sons, Richard Rossignol Jr. and wife, Carla, Timothy Rossignol and wife, Donna and Arthur Rossignol all of Caribou, three daughters, Norma Drost and husband, Paul of Mariaville, Anne Rossignol and Alton Berube of Caribou and Pauline Green and husband ,Michael of Caribou, four sisters,Regina Doucette of Stockholm, Geri Kenney of Houlton, Viola Secrist of Fairfax, VA., and Della Daigle of Caribou, fifteen grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mr. Rossignol was predeceased by three brothers, Armand, Clarence and Rosaire Rossignol and a sister, Millie Gormley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Following the service all are invited to visit with the family at the parish center for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments.
