CARIBOU, Maine — Caribou Police Chief Michael Gahagan has issued this friendly reminder of the wintertime parking ban.
“This is a reminder to make sure you do not leave your vehicle(s) parked on the streets, especially during times of inclement (snow) weather,” Gahagan said. “If you do, you may receive a parking ticket as a minimum and if your vehicle impedes snow removal it may be towed at the owner’s expense.”
Per the city code, Section 12-407, parking is prohibited on any street in Caribou between the hours of 12 midnight to 6 a.m. from November 1 to May 1.
