HOULTON, Maine — Houlton High School will host the District VII Jazz Festival Thursday, Feb. 25. Performance groups from Easton, Caribou, Ashland, Presque Isle and Nashwaaksis (Fredericton, N.B.).
The schedule for competition is as follows: 12:30 p.m., Houlton High School Show Choir; 1 p.m., Houlton Middle School Jazz Band; 1:30 p.m., Houlton High School Jazz Band; 3 p.m., Easton Jazz Choir; 3:30 p.m., Caribou Middle School Show Choir; 4 p.m., Nashwaaksis Middle School Show Choir; 4:30 p.m., Ashland High School Show Choir; 5 p.m., Caribou High School Show Choir; 5:30 p.m., PIHS Jazz Choir; 6 p.m. dinner break; 6:30 p.m., PIHS Jazz Band; 7 p.m., PIMS Jazz Band; and 7:30 p.m., PIMS Jazz Combo.
