Four Caribou wrestlers were named to the all-conference team in the Penobscot Valley Conference.
Cory Jandreau, Devin Roy, Dustin DeMerchant and Izaiah Thayer were selected to the elite squad.
Jandreau, who competed in the 132 lb. division, recorded 28 wins and placed second in two tournaments, third in three and fourth in four others. Roy, in 152, came in third in two tournaments and fourth in another and totaled seven wins on the year.
DeMerchant, with 18 victories as the Vikings’ 195 wrestler, won the PVHS Tournament and placed second in four tourneys and third in three others. Thayer, competing in the 220 class, claimed 27 wins and was the champion in both the PVHS and Caribou tournaments. He also placed second twice, third three times and fourth on four occasions.
“I think this is great for the program and except for DeMerchant they will all be coming back next season,” said Caribou coach Chico Hernandez.
“It’s been a season of ups and downs and this is definitely a up going in the right direction and I could not be more proud of these boys and this team looking forward to the 2016-17 season,” he added.
