Mrs. Beatrice L. Pirie and the late Kevin A. Pirie of Connor TWP., Maine, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of her son, Matthew J. Pirie, to Lizbeth A. Fontaine, daughter of Michael and Christine Fontaine of Washington, Maine and Karan and Mark Ames of Albion, Maine.
Matthew is a 2005 graduate of Caribou High School and attended Husson University in Bangor, Maine where he graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is currently a Senior Staff Auditor with CDR Associates, LLC and works in Bangor, Maine.
Lizbeth is a 2008 graduate of Georges Valley High School and also attended Husson University where she graduated in 2010 with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. She is currently a Senior Legal Secretary at the Office of the Attorney General in Bangor, Maine.
The couple is planning a May 28, 2016, wedding at St. John’s Catholic Church in Bangor, Maine.
