CARIBOU — Galen Roy Tracy died on April 8, 2016 at EMMC with his family by his side. Galen was born March 12, 1948 in Caribou, ME, the son of the late Kenneth and Ada (Langley) Tracy.
Galen attended Caribou schools and was an auto mechanic in Caribou for many years. He retired in 1982 after a workplace accident.
He was a great father to his three daughters, Tina, Angela, and Kendra, all of Caribou and a special grandson, Galen (GT) also of Caribou. Galen had five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He is survived by three brothers, Philip of Fort Fairfield, Albert of Burke, VA, and Frank of Paulding, OH; his daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Galen was predeceased by his sister, Ruth Dunakin. He is also survived by his significant other, Mary Porter.
A celebration of his life will be at Spruce Haven, Sunday, Apr. 16 at 1 p.m. All are invited to attend and celebrate Galen’s life. Covered dishes are welcome.
