CARIBOU, Maine — The Maine Federation of Chapters of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will hold its 39th convention at the Caribou Inn and Convention Center on Wednesday and Thursday, April 27 and 28, 2016.
The local Aroostook Chapter 2132 will host the event along with the Maine Federation.
Pre-convention events on Wednesday, April 27, will include an executive board meeting at noon, followed by registration and check-in at 3 p.m. From 3:30-4:30 p.m., an educational seminar on advocacy or membership recruitment will be held for all officers and members. A social will begin at 4:30 p.m., with a buffet banquet at 6 p.m.
