CARIBOU — Sharon Gail Roberts Brown, 67, passed away April 19, 2016 at Eagle Lake, ME, after complications from a long illness. She was born September 5, 1948, daughter of the late Fred and Hannah (Langley) Roberts. Sharon was also predeceased by her brother Glenwood Smith, special nieces Cheryl and Beth Smith, and nephew Bruce Johnson.

Sharon grew up in Caribou. She married Stephen Brown in 1965 and is survived by their children Holly Brown and partner Kathy of Austin, TX; Stephen Brown II and wife Susan of New Canaan, CT; and Suzanne Fantigrossi and husband Steve of Rochester ,NY. She is also survived by her beloved sister Deleen and husband Lefty Johnson; beloved brother Carl and wife Shirley Smith; very special niece and nephew Shelly Johnson Hethcoat and Carl Smith Jr.; and four grandchildren Matthew and Ryan Fantigrossi; Stephen III and Max Brown.
Sharon’s bubbly personality, great sense of humor, generous nature, and captivating smile will not be forgotten. A testament to her strength, the endurance she lived by was second to none. She was a shining example for her children and all who knew her.
