TAMPA, FL — Frederick Joseph Ayotte, 67, died January 26, 2016 at his home in Tampa, FL following a long illness. Fred was born August 21, 1948 to William J. Ayotte and Flora (McNeal) Ayotte. Fred was preceded in death by his parents and a special friend, Lynn Parker. Fred was a graduate of Caribou High School’s Class of 1966.

Fred joined the U.S. Marine Corps. and served in Vietnam. Fred was wounded in Vietnam and retired from the Marines in 1972. Fred enjoyed hunting , fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and was a registered hunting and fishing guide and pilot.
Fred loved dogs. His dog Harley lives in Maine with a close friend, Cinda.
In lieu of flowers, send donations to the Wounded Warriors Project of America. Spring burial will be on June 13 at 10 a.m. at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.
