The funds will aid in modifications to make the committal shelter more adaptable to the elements. The upgrades will allow veterans and their families to conduct ceremonies without the worry of weather interference. “This donation fits with our heritage perfectly,” Ellsworth said. “Our organization was founded in 1956 to serve Loring Air Force Base personnel and employees. This being our 60th anniversary, we felt that it was fitting for us to contribute to this very worthwhile cause.” |
