HHPR seeks family for cat

CARIBOU — The Halfway Home Pet Rescue of Caribou is looking for a home for a special-needs cat named Tucker.

Tucker is a neutered, young, shorthaired tiger male with medical clearance completed. He tested FIV-positive, so he can only go to a home that already has FIV cats or one with no other cat involved.

Tucker is affectionate and in very good health, said HHPR officials. He has no FIV symptoms present at this time. FIV cats can live for many years without being symptomatic.

If Tucker is not adopted in this area, he will be sent to an special pet rescue that accepts FIV-positive cats. For information call 999-1075.
