CARIBOU and MILLINOCKET — Mary Hartley, 74, wife of the late Marvin Hartley, passed away June 22, 2016 in Caribou surrounded by her family.

She was born in Fort Fairfield, September 15, 1941 the daughter of the late John McCarthy and Annie (Baker) McCarthy. Mary was employed by Cary Medical Center as a LPN for a number of years.
She is survived by her children, Anne Bertram of Portland, Catherine Zetterman and husband, Linwood of Millinocket, Greg Bertram and wife, Leslie of Long Pond, PA, Sarah Hartley, and Amy Hartley both of Caribou, a step-daughter, Jane Hartley of Stockholm, a step-son, Skip Hartley of Raleigh, NC, her sister, Dorothy Wakem and husband, David of Caribou, 16 grandchildren, including a special grandson, Damien, who was always with her at just the right moments, and 25 great grandchildren.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, June 27, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1 p.m. from the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
