Lisa S. Obstfeld

     PRESQUE ISLE – Lisa S. Obstfeld, 60, passed away June 28, 2016, at her home after battling breast cancer for 22 years, nine of them stage four. She was truly a rare person, loved by all who met her. She lived to laugh and love. She was born August 20, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Fran (Blotkey) Obstfeld. She grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona.

     Lisa earned her Ph.D. at Memphis State University in 1982. She worked as a Psychologist in private practice of psychology 1982-1990 in Reno and 1990-2008 in Presque Isle. She loved her Siberian Huskies team and was truly devoted to her dogs.

     Lisa enjoyed creating fused glass art in her studio.

     She was an adoring wife to Stuart Wyckoff (who knew he was the luckiest person on earth when she agreed to marry him).

     Lisa is survived by her husband, Stuart of Presque Isle; a sister, Gaila Weisberg of Neversink, NY; and a brother, Jeff Obstfeld of Paradise Valley, AZ.
