CARIBOU, Maine — Machias Savings Bank of the National Division and Police of the American Division are the final two teams standing in the Caribou Little League playoffs.
MSB defeated S.W. Collins, 22-3, in the National Division finals, while Police stopped Knights of Columbus in the American Division title game. Both games were played Saturday.
Last Wednesday in the semifinals, MSB got past the Woodland Eagles, 13-6, while Police had beaten Sleepers, 17-12.
The championship series begins tonight with game one at 6 p.m. The second game is set for Thursday at 6 p.m., with game three, if needed, scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m. The games will be played on the Robert P. White Field.
