CARIBOU – Vicki Haney Cote, 55, passed away July 7, 2016, after a long illness. Vicki was born January 13, 1961, in Caribou, to the late Wilfred and Irene (Nelson) Haney. Vicki loved sharing the simple pleasures of life with family and friends. She really enjoyed four wheeling, bingo, playing cards, crafts and collecting lighthouses. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her precious grandchildren.
Vicki is survived by her partner of 21 years, Charles Green; two daughters, Crystal and Peter Tilley of Fort Fairfield, and Erin and Troy Cote of Saco, ME. She leaves behind one granddaughter, Diane Willette of Kansas; and five grandsons, Dylan and Brayden Tilley of Fort Fairfield, Troy and Ethan Cote of Saco, and Lucas Willette of Kansas; five brothers, James Haney and Matthew Haney of Connor, Milo Haney and wife, Priscilla, Dana Haney and wife, Dolly of Caribou, and Danny Haney and wife, Gaetane of Limestone; two sisters, Jackie Rice of Birch Harbor, and Raylene Shaw and husband, Barry of Presque Isle; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and three very special nieces, Carrie Willette of Kansas, Laurie Perley of Connor, and Tracy Rice of Prospect Harbor, ME.
Vicki was predeceased by one brother, Wilfred Haney of Caribou; two sisters, Diane (Haney) Schorr of Caribou and Linda (Haney) Hurd of Winter Harbor, ME.
Memorial services will be held July 16, 2016, at the Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover Street, Caribou. Visiting hours will be from 2-3, Funeral Services from 3-4, with reception immediately following at the V.F.W. in Caribou.
