On November 26, 1977, Diane married James A. Johnson in Presque Isle.

Diane worked her entire life in the bookkeeping and accounting business. Diane was an extremely well respected and sought after professional in her field.

In 1983, she and James moved to Portland where they began to raise their family. Diane loved feeding and watching the birds and deer in her backyard, she loved painting, and if you ever needed anything, the Google queen could definitely find it, no matter what it was you were looking for.

Her greatest love was the time spent surrounded by her family at the backyard fire pit or family dinners, any excuse to bring the family together. She also had a great love for her pets and constant companions, BJ and Boo.

Diane is survived by her father, Carl Doughty of Presque Isle; mother, Annette Martin of Canada; husband, James A. Johnson of Portland; daughter, Kendra Johnson of Portland; son, Devin Johnson of Portland; and one sister, Ginger and her husband, Jeffrey Anderson of Old Orchard Beach.
